nobody really understands
what i actually go through
are you me, do you wear my shoes?

your perceptions, they hurt me
please don't misunderstand me
you're not me, you don't walk my path.

i know what i'm doing, i'm not a child
decisions are mine to make
don't make it sound like a mistake.

there are personal reasons
just like there are seasons
please don't force anything on me.

i'm not trying to be difficult,
i'm not running away from responsibilities
please stop coming down harsh on me.

there comes a point of time
when you have to make hard choices.
i'm going through that phase now.

i'm sorry things seem like such a mess now,
